The EUR 131 million (CNY 1.112 billion) project, located in Fujian province in eastern China, comprises 10 XEMC’s 5 MW offshore wind power turbine generators.

In 2011, the company’s subsidiary, XEMC Darwind, installed a 5MW prototype at the test site in Wieringermeer, which was followed by the installation of another prototype in Fujian Province the next year.

The Province plans to develop a total of 500MW offshore wind capacity at several locations by the end of 2015.
