Teledyne RESON announces the release of a new product at Ocean Business 2013, designed from the ground up to meet the demands of the shallow water market. It is developed for users requiring ease of use and portability, while still demanding the highest quality data and a powerful feature set.

It is based on a new generation sonar receiver, which is roughly half the size of the SeaBat 7125 array, and a new Teledyne RESON Portable Sonar Processor.

Feature Pack 4

Teledyne RESON will also introduce Feature Pack 4, a new feature set for the industry leading SeaBat 7125 series, especially developed for the hydrographic and offshore markets. Teledyne RESON new features continue the tradition of enhancing data quality and productivity and securing our customers’ investment in the industry leading multibeam echosounder – the SeaBat 7125.

New features include Automated Pipeline Detection and Tracking as well as a new Multi-View SeaBat User Interface, providing simultaneous control of bathymetry, water coloumn, snippets and sidescan backscatter data.

More exciting and unique features will be revealed at Ocean Business which will be held from 9 – 11 April.
