EDF Energy Renewables reported on February 18 that six turbines have been completely installed ahead of commissioning and a seventh tower was awaiting the addition of its blades on the Teesside Offshore Windfarm.
The MPI Adventure, a large six-leg jack up vessel designed to transport, lift and install turbines, was reloading in Hartlepool at the time, and offshore work was due to resume in a few days – weather permitting.
It is expected the project will be completed early in the second quarter of 2013.
