The Israel Electric Corporation confirmed that the LNG supply from the regasification ship that the company leased had begun.

The expected savings from the use of LNG supplied by a cargo of one regasification ship, compared to the use of diesel oil, is estimated by the company at approximately 15 Million US Dollars.

The company has acquired a number of LNG cargoes which will be delivered in the coming months, Israel Electric said in a statement.
