Vattenfall’s Ormonde Offshore Wind Farm, which is now fully constructed and operational, will be inaugurated next week.
The ceremony of the official launching will be attended by Vattenfall’s president and CEO Øystein Løseth and MP for Furness John Woodcock as a guest of honour, writes the Westmorland Gazette.
Ormonde Offshore Wind Farm is named as the “most innovative commercial wind farm in the world” and will supply 100,000 households with electricity.
