The Jiangsu Rudong offshore wind test farm expansion project started on July 2, 2012. Up to date,the site has already finished 14-unit wind turbine installation and 15310 meters of cable laying. Also, the Haizhuang 5.0 MW prototype piling work is successfully completed.
The 5.0 MW prototype consists of six pile foundation structures. The diameter of the pile is 1.5 meters, with total length of 65 meters.
Through the careful preparation and with overcoming many difficulties, such as huge waves, high installation technical requirements etc., the work of foundation piling, jacket foundation lifting grouting, cable laying and other construction has finally been successfully completed.
