The third Getxo Seaweek organised by the Getxo town council with the collaboration of the Port Authority of Bilbao is to be held from June 25th to July 1st.
On this occasion, the main theme will be the knowledge and conservation of the seabed. Among the activities planned is the exhibition “Port waters, a refuge for life”, a documentary made by the Nakusarbe collective filmed in the Abra Exterior, the outer port and to be shown in the Port of Bilbao Salon of the Hotel Igeretxe from June 25th to 27th: a fine opportunity to discover the mysteries of the marine ecosystem.
Pierre Yves Cousteau, son of the mythical Commander Cousteau will be attending Getxo Seaweek as a special guest.
