The company won the prize for its Green Operations initiative, which has seen the company work with the Rainforest Foundation Norway to reduce emissions and provide funds towards protecting the rainforest.

CEO Lars Peder Solstad, says it is an honour for Solstad Offshore to receive this award, and sees it as a confirmation that the environmental efforts of the company have been recognized as an important contribution to the offshore industry,

-The Solstad Green Operations have been a great success, and have given us the possibility to introduce the first Climate Neutral Operations (CNO) of vessels in the offshore industry , says Solstad.

He also confirms that the company is continously looking for ways to improve and develop its environmental programme.
