Bergen Group Offshore has, through its subsidiary Bergen Group Rosenberg AS, been awarded an EPCIc-contract by Statoil with an estimated value of approximately 30 MNOK.

The EPCIc-contract (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning) includes dismantling of permanent deck cranes on the Gullfaks A and C Platform.

Work will commence from Bergen Group Rosenberg’s offices at Buøy, Stavanger immediately, and the project will be executed in 2 phases: Gullfaks A prior to June 2012 and Gullfaks C Prior to December 2013.

“This project represents an interesting niche in the EPCIc brownfield modification market and is a valuable contribution to the utilization of our capability and efficiency in this segment.
