MMT has recently been contracted by ABB for the vessel management and survey services during mass flow excavation operations for the BritNed cable between the United Kingdom and The Netherlands. MMT has charterted the DP2 vessel Olympic Zeus for the operation.
MMT has also contracted Rotech Subsea for the provision of a T 8000 mass flow excavation system as well as equipped the vessel with Multibeam and high-resolution positioning systems.
The work will be carried out from the second half of January 2011 and onwards.
