Smith, Wyden secure $15 million for Columbia deepening

Sens. Gordon Smith and Ron Wyden said Tuesday that a Senate panel has approved an additional $15 million to continue deepening the Columbia River. The funding for dredging was included in the annual spending bill approved by the Senate Energy and Water Appropriations Subcommittee.
