Sharjah container terminal receives Chiwan

The Sharjah container terminal recently received its largest container ship when the 299-metre APL Chiwan called at the port. According to a Gulf News report, the Chiwan is capable of carrying around 4,700 TEUs (20-foot equivalent units), and was operating on APL’s Far East-Gulf ‘WAX’ service.
