Leading shipbuilder signs contract with Japanese company

BEIJING, July 21 — The China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), one of the nation’s leading commercial shipbuilders, signed a contract yesterday with the Japan-based Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd (“K” LINE) – one of the world’s top 10 shipping companies – to build a US$60 million bulk carrier.
